All of us who care about Noosa say thank you and farewell to Cecily Fearnley who has passed away just short of her 97th birthday.

As a bushwalker and nature lover, Cecily became one of the foundation members of Noosa Parks Association, and for three decades spread her message of conservation and local knowledge in her newspaper column “Noosa Nature”.

She became part of the fabric that bound this community together as one that cares about the environment around us.
